With our nation’s ratio of house prices to yearly rents almost restored to its pre-bubble average AND extremely low mortgage rates, houses are the most affordable they have been in decades.

Still not convinced? Wondering if now is the right time to buy? According to a recent Fannie Mae National Housing Survey, the top four reasons to buy a home are:

  1. It means having a good place to raise children and provide them with a good education.
  2. You have a physical structure where you and your family feel safe.
  3. It allows you to have more space for your family.
  4. It gives you control over what you do with your living space, like renovations and updates.
