Sponsored by and run through the Housing Authority of Baltimore City, this program offers a $10,000 incentive to the first 50 people who purchase a rehabbed vacant property or who purchase a still-vacant home with a rehab loan (such as a 203(k) ). If you are a city employee, there is an additional $5,000 incentive. Starting prices on some of these properties begin as low as $5,000, so some of these properties are essentially being given away! The V2V incentives can also be combined with other programs such as "Live Near Your Work" and "Buy Into Baltimore." With incentives like these, these properties won't last long.
